We’re Chris and Dakota. Starmarked grew from a love of making things—and listening to the stories people wanted those things to tell. What began with a small handmade gift became a way to create keepsakes for the moments, people, and companions you want to remember.

CHRIS · HOW STARMARKED BEGAN
It started with something I made. And someone who wanted to wear it.
I wanted to recycle and upcycle things around the house, and started making earrings. One day, a young girl saw a pair on a display and wanted them. I gave them to her. I was honored that someone had chosen something I created and wanted to wear it. That small moment made me wonder what else I could make.
Dog tags led to charms and bookmarks, then bracelets with details that represented meaningful people and moments. The direction kept changing because I listened to what people wanted—and loved hearing the personal stories behind their choices.
Bookmarks became another way to put that care into something people could use and keep. A small detail tucked into a favorite book can hold a name, a thought, or a reminder of someone who matters. I love that an everyday object can become personal without needing to be elaborate. That is still how I approach this work: listen to the person, understand what matters to them, and find a thoughtful way to make something they will cherish.

$10 donated per qualifying piece
Qualifying full-price permanent-jewelry pieces of $50 or more help the cause. Milestone bonuses and a separate Cause Charm option are also available.
