Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026

This policy explains how Starmarked Creations collects, uses, and shares information when you visit starmarkedcreations.com, shop with us, arrange a service, or contact our team.

The short version: We use your details to answer your questions, make and deliver your keepsakes, process orders, and arrange appointments and events. Our website uses cookies and Google measurement and advertising services. Calls with our AI assistant may be recorded and transcribed. You can contact Chris & Dakota directly through our contact form.

Information you provide

  • Orders and accounts: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, purchases, order notes, account details, and payment or transaction references.
  • Inquiries and bookings: your preferred reply method, requested service, dates, location, guest count, budget or other preferences, and the messages you send us.
  • Custom keepsakes: design choices, sizing, personalization, photos or stories you choose to share, and information needed to connect a sample with your order.
  • Waivers and service records: the signer’s name, participant or child’s name where applicable, contact details, consent and agreement records, and information you provide about fitting, care, or service concerns.
  • Reviews and other content: your review, rating, display name, and any content you ask us to share. Approved reviews and content intended for public display can be visible to other visitors.

Please share only what we need for your request. Avoid sending passwords, full payment-card details, or unrelated medical information through forms, email, or the AI assistant.

Information collected automatically

Our website, hosting provider, and connected services may collect your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring website or campaign, approximate location, timestamps, and interactions such as adding an item to your cart or following a booking link. We use this information for website operation, fraud and spam prevention, traffic measurement, and advertising measurement.

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, shopping carts, preferences, traffic-source attribution, and saved gallery choices. Clearing site data may remove saved choices or sign you out.

How we use your information

We use information to respond using your chosen contact method; process payments; prepare, personalize, and ship orders; coordinate appointments, training, Zoom coaching, and events; manage waivers and aftercare; keep business records; prevent misuse; and understand how visitors find and use our services.

A contact request or waiver is not a marketing signup. Order updates, booking messages, and replies to your request are service communications. If you receive promotional messages from us, you can ask us to stop or use an unsubscribe option provided with the message.

Our AI phone assistant

When you call (909) 413-5002, our AI assistant answers first. Retell AI and telephone-service providers process the call. Calls may be recorded, transcribed, summarized, and analyzed. Call records can include your phone number, what you tell the assistant, call timing, and connection or transfer results.

We use these records to respond to requests, arrange services, review the assistant’s performance, and follow up when needed. Call notes and transcripts may be saved privately in our website systems and sent to our team by email. They are not published as customer reviews or public transcripts.

If you prefer a person, use the human contact form and choose a call, text, or email. You can request help without speaking to the AI assistant. See Retell AI’s privacy policy for its own data practices.

Keepsake samples, photos, and stories

Milk, fur, or ashes supplied for a keepsake are associated with your order and handled to create the commissioned piece. For Mother’s Milk jewelry, the milk sample is processed into the resin mixture; unused material is discarded. These are keepsake services, not medical testing services.

Photos, videos, and stories intended for marketing are handled according to the permission you give us, including any applicable media consent. Contact us if you want to discuss a photo, story, or consent record. Customer contact details and private order notes are not intended for public display.

Who receives information

Chris & Dakota and people helping us deliver your requested service may access the information needed for their work. We also use service providers:

  • Store, payments, shipping, and tax: WordPress/WooCommerce, WooPayments and its payment partners, shipping and tax services, and delivery carriers receive the details needed to process and fulfill an order. Payment-card details are handled through the payment provider’s payment fields; our store keeps order and transaction information.
  • Appointments and in-person payments: Square processes details you provide through its booking or payment services.
  • Website and communication: hosting, website maintenance, email, and telephone providers support the site and our replies. Retell AI supports the phone assistant, and Zoom supports remote sessions.
  • Measurement and advertising: Google services receive technical and usage information as described below.

We may also disclose information when necessary to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect people or our business, or resolve a payment or service dispute. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries and apply their own privacy policies.

Cookies, Google services, and your tracking choices

We use Google services, including Analytics, advertising measurement, and AdSense. These services can receive information such as your IP address, page URL, device identifiers, and website activity, and may set or read cookies. Google may combine information across websites and services for measurement or advertising, including personalized advertising depending on your settings. Learn how Google uses information from websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use browser privacy protections, manage Google ad preferences, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect cart, sign-in, and other features. Private browsing alone does not prevent providers from receiving information.

California Do Not Track disclosure: Our website does not currently use the legacy browser “Do Not Track” signal to switch off tracking. Google and other providers may collect activity across websites through their services. You can also contact us with a privacy request.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the record and its purpose. Our store is currently configured to remove inactive accounts after 10 years, move unpaid pending, failed, and canceled orders to trash after 30 days, and anonymize personal information in completed or refunded orders after 10 years. These settings are not a promise that every copy in email, backups, payment systems, or other providers is deleted at the same time.

Inquiry correspondence, waivers, custom-order details, and call records may be kept to handle requests, provide service and aftercare, maintain consent records, prevent fraud, and meet recordkeeping or dispute needs. Private copies of successfully sent inquiry and call-note emails in our website’s delivery queue are scheduled for removal after 90 days; unresolved deliveries, staff email, backups, and provider records follow separate retention arrangements. Retell recordings and transcripts are not covered by that website queue schedule.

Your information and your choices

You can ask us to review, correct, provide a copy of, or delete personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to stop promotional messages or change how we contact you. If you have a store account, you can update available account details through My account.

Use our contact form, choose email if you would like a written reply, and include “Privacy request” in your message. You may also call (909) 413-5002; our AI assistant answers first. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing records. Do not send identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.

We will consider requests under the laws that apply to us. Some records may need to remain for an active order, accounting, security, consent documentation, or legal reasons. We will explain any relevant limits. Requests concerning a provider’s independent account or services may also need to be directed to that provider.

Security and children

We use HTTPS, access controls, and other safeguards to help protect information. No website, email system, or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Our online purchases and inquiries are intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian can arrange a child’s jewelry service and provide the required participant and consent information. Please contact us if a child has provided information without the appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

Other services and policy updates

Links to Square, Discord, social media, Zoom, or other services take you to services with their own privacy practices. Embedded content can also allow another service to receive technical information about your visit.

We will post policy changes here and update the effective date. For privacy questions, contact Chris & Dakota. Purchase and cancellation terms are covered separately by our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
