Your Starmarked moment

Waiver & Consent

We’re so glad you’re here. Thanks for sharing your moment with us—let’s make something special together.

A little fine print before the sparkle.

Before the sparkle

Your artist closes a small connecting jump ring with a brief weld. The jewelry is never welded to your skin. The weld produces heat and a bright flash; possible risks include a burn or eye injury from unprotected exposure. Wearing jewelry can also cause skin irritation or an allergic reaction.

We use appropriate eye protection and a protective barrier between the jewelry and your skin to reduce these risks. Follow your artist’s safety directions, including looking away during the weld. You can ask questions, ask us to pause, or choose not to proceed at any time.

A happy fit starts with you

Let your artist know before service about metal allergies, sensitive skin, or any health concern that may affect fitting, welding, or wearing your jewelry.

If you have a pacemaker or another implanted medical device, speak with your medical provider and device manufacturer before considering welding, and tell your artist before service. We may pause or decline welding in line with the equipment’s safety instructions. A clasp may be an alternative.

Wear it with a little care

Check fit periodically and book an adjustment if needed. Chains can snag or break; remove yours if it’s tight, irritating, or unsafe for an activity. Keep loose pieces from little ones.

Need a little change?

Removal is always free. You can also snip the small connecting jump ring with scissors—ask your artist how, and keep your piece.

Your consent & release

I understand the process and risks described above and voluntarily choose to receive permanent jewelry. I may ask questions, decline the service, or ask the artist to stop.

To the extent permitted by California law, I release Starmarked Creations and its staff from personal-injury claims arising directly from their ordinary negligence while fitting or welding my permanent jewelry during this appointment. I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights to seek compensation for those injuries.

We’re here for your keepsake

Our 90-Day Fit & Style Promise—complimentary fit corrections and one eligible chain exchange.

For standard welded permanent jewelry purchased from Starmarked, contact us within 90 days of your original purchase. We’ll correct your original fit at no charge, including fitting and welding; fit corrections don’t use your chain exchange. Your appointment can take place afterward when arranged with us.

Exchange your chain once for another available standard chain within the same collection and jewelry type, using your original length allowance. Return your original jewelry; normal wear is welcome. Removal, fitting, and welding are included. Higher-priced chains, collection upgrades, added decorative length, and additional charms, connectors, or other design changes cost extra—we’ll confirm any difference before you decide. Exchanging your chain does not restart the 90 days.

This promise covers fit and style changes, not lost jewelry, accidental damage, or cash refunds. Our separate one-year original-weld guarantee, 30-day coverage for confirmed manufacturing defects, free professional removal, and free re-welding of the original piece after medical removal remain available. Separate refund policies and applicable consumer rights are unchanged. See our care and coverage policy for the full terms.
