Thank you for choosing Starmarked. Take time to settle into your piece. For standard welded permanent jewelry purchased from us, contact us within 90 days of your purchase for help finding your happy fit—or a chain you love even more.
A fit that feels right
We’ll correct your original fit at no charge, including the fitting and welding needed. Fit corrections don’t use your chain exchange.
Changing jewelry type, adding decorative length, or adding new design elements is a separate request. We’ll explain any extra cost before making changes.
A fresh choice, on us
Exchange your chain once for another available standard chain within the same collection and jewelry type, using your original length allowance. Removal, fitting, and welding are included.
Bring your original jewelry to return. Normal wear is welcome. Higher-priced chains, collection upgrades, and additional charms or connectors cost extra—we’ll confirm the difference before you decide.
Time to arrange your visit
Contact us within 90 days of your original purchase. Your appointment can take place afterward when arranged with us. One chain exchange is available per original purchase; exchanging your chain does not restart the 90 days.

It provides fit corrections and one chain exchange, not a cash refund. Separate refund policies and applicable consumer rights remain unchanged.

The original weld, the jewelry components, and accidental damage each have different coverage. Keeping those categories clear helps us give you the right solution.
One-year weld guarantee
The original connection
If your jewelry separates at the original welded jump ring within one year, bring the original piece back and we will re-weld it at no charge.
Breaks elsewhere on the chain are not weld failures. After one year, standard re-welding is $15.
30-day component coverage
Manufacturing defects
A confirmed manufacturing defect in a chain, charm, connector, stone setting, or other component is covered for 30 days. We will repair or replace the affected component at no charge.
Normal wear, scratches, fading, tarnishing, stretching, snagging, crushed links, impact damage, and chemical exposure are not manufacturing defects.
Accidental damage
If life happens,
bring us the piece.
If your jewelry breaks and you still have the original piece, we will repair or re-weld it whenever reasonably possible for $15 plus any replacement material required.
If the piece cannot be repaired, the replacement schedule applies.

One discounted replacement is available per original piece. The damaged original is surrendered when a replacement discount is used. A replacement does not restart the guarantee or discount clock.

Professional removal is always free, and you never need to give us a reason. Keep the original jewelry if you may want to wear it again.
Everyday removal

Come to us and we will remove your piece at no charge. Putting the original jewelry back on later is a standard $15 re-weld.
Medical removal
Complimentary re-welding
If removal is needed for an MRI, surgery, pregnancy, swelling, or another medical reason, re-welding the original piece is free at any time. No proof is required.
Preparing for a medical procedure? Tell your care team about your permanent jewelry and follow their instructions about removal. Contact us to arrange removal before your appointment.

Snagging, impact, stretching, or crushed links can damage a fine chain. Permanent means claspless—not indestructible.
Know your material
Water resistance and finish performance vary by chain. We identify the material and care expectations before your piece is fitted.
Protect body chains
Waistbands and seatbelts create extra friction on waist, belly, and belt chains. Ask us about a sturdier chain or clasped option for your routine.
Save every piece
Keep the original jewelry after damage or removal. We need the original piece for warranty and discounted-replacement claims.

Lost jewelry
The original piece is required.
Lost or missing jewelry is not covered. Warranty claims require the original jewelry unless we are replacing a confirmed defective component.
